Youko Sensei is a Kokugakuin University Graduate with Degree in History of Literature. She is an amazing catoonist; her first debute was in 1978 with the short story Koi wa Happy Snow ni Notte, which was published in the monthly HITOMI magazine, AKITA Publishing CO.,LTD.

Her most notable works is Lady! which was serialized in Hitomi, and later was animated by Toei.
Sensei worked in several acadamy’s: as an Assistant Professor in the Toei’s Animation Institute, Visting Associate Professor in the Gakuen Univeristy of Creation teaching principal techniques of the School of Manga and Comic theory, and in the International College of Art in Nagoya for two years. She was also involved in attending various events in France, such as conventions and signing sessions.

Sensei at Work
Her works does not fall short Shoujo gendre’s; Sensei she expanded on Josei and has an array of manga adaptations of western romance novels.
Currently, she’s working on a Sequel for her most notable works.
