Rin and Edward on the Hitomi Magazine
The manga ‘Lady!’ made its debuted in Hitomi Magazine, which is a Shoujo magazine aimed mostly at young girls. Being serialized in this magazine, ‘Lady!’ obtained a lot of attention and the series became so popular that lead Toei Animation to adopt the story line and create an animated TV show. The magazine was suspended due to the publisher interest in changing the target audience to a more mature level.
